Club Creative: Creative Arts Inspired Social Connections Group for Girls ages 8-12

For girls who love a little creativity when learning about feelings and friends.

Creative Arts, mindfulness and yoga are fantastic ways to build social skills and emotional confidence. We teach girls to calm their inner chaos (also called dysregulation) without having to use words because let’s face it- sometimes words are hard. We use art to teach girls to express themselves in a way that makes most sense to them. This group is designed for all our friends who can’t explain, or even comprehend all the emotions they have. Even more, we use creative arts to also teach social skills!

➤ Club Creative: Creative Arts Inspired Social Skills Group for Girls ages 8-12 will help your child…

➤ Club Creative: Creative Arts Inspired Social Skills Group for Girls ages 8-12 is the most effective way to take your daughter from feeling isolated and confused, to being able to share their emotions and build friendships that last.

Here’s why…

  • We use therapist-led collaborative playing skills to teach better social and emotional skills.
  • We teach building friendships through playing, while naturally teaching skills like not interrupting, staying on task, and being effectively assertive.
  • We know that girls don’t learn from worksheets. We use unstructured play settings so that girls can learn social skills in a real setting, which transfers to home and school.
  • We provide weekly updates on goals, behaviors and social concerns, including improvement towards lagging skills.
  • Inspired by Creative Arts, Yoga, and mindfulness
  • Teaching through positive reinforcement
  • Breathing exercises
  • Teaching body awareness
  • Allotted ‘free time’ to practice socializing with other group members in an unstructured setting
  • Our targeted curriculum is research-based and has shown significant social improvement for members who commit for a minimum of 4 consecutive months.
