Hi, I’m Mirela and I can be your counselor in Charlotte and Huntersville, North Carolina
Here are a few things to know about me.
- Trained in the CPS model by Dr. Ross Greene
- I am fluent in Bulgarian and moved to the United States when I was 9.
- I am an Ambivert
- I lead one of our groups for ADHD and Autistic kids ages 9-12
I am passionate about working with parents and their ADHD children ages 5-11 who are angry or anxious. I love working on improving communication and the overall relationship with your child.

- Your child’s ADHD is overwhelming. There is so much going on and you feel confused by everything you have read or been told.
- Your child acts out and embarrasses you in front of your friends and family. You know the looks and whispers are them questioning your parenting. And honestly, you are too.
- Your child doesn’t listen, won’t follow rules and seems to do things just to make you upset. You are beyond frustrated and nothing is working.
- The anger is about everything. They are oppositional, and hit and kick you when they are mad… which is most of the time.
- You have noticed your child is anxious, but you’re not quite sure about what.
- You have tried everything and none of it works. You have exhausted all the options. If this doesn’t work you don’t know what else to do.
- You feel like you have failed as a parent. You feel alone and confused.

- I teach kids about feelings and help them both understand and show them appropriately.
- I support you in knowing your parenting options so that you remain in charge and no longer feel as if you have lost control of the home.
- I teach communication skills that actually work for ADHD kids.
- I teach you about the diagnosis- the stuff beyond the books, that actually helps your child succeed.
