Matt Yeoman, LMFTA

Hi, I'm Matt and I can be your ADHD therapist in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Let’s be direct and to the point. Here is a bit about me.

  • Straightforward approach
  • Diagnosed 2E with ADHD
  • Parent of a 2E with ADHD child
  • Prior ABA therapist
  • Extroverted Introvert

I love working with ADHD adults who are anxious, depressed or absolutely overwhelmed by their ADHD.

➤ Is this you?

  • You are diagnosed with ADHD and have realized your life is absolutely out of control. You can’t keep up with anything: your appointments, your children’s schedule- it is all a disaster.
  • Your ADHD comes with anxiety, and you second guess yourself in most situations.
  • You know your ADHD is impacting your marriage. As hard as you try, you are pretty sure you are heading towards a divorce, all because you can’t keep up with anything. Your spouse is over it, and honestly, so are you.
  • You are so close to losing your job. You love where you work but you are not getting the accommodations you need. You are not sure when to speak up and when to stay silent, and you need someone who can guide you through it all.

➤ How can I help?

  • I have been there. I know what it is like to forget appointments and feel like things are out of control. I know the struggle of finding the right workplace environment. I can help you get through it all, and set you up for success even when the ADHD feels like it is controlling every aspect of your life.
  • I am a divorced ADHD parent of 2 children. I get it. I’ve been through it. I can guide you through the hard moments, so you can experience the joy of parenting again.
  • We target solution focused goals, almost like an accountability partner or an executive coach would. We work through it together, so you never feel alone or isolated.

If you are looking for my credentials, here they are:

  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in North Carolina
  • Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pfeiffer University
  • Graduate of Middlebury College and The Juilliard School
  • Moved to Charlotte in 2017
