Finding Your People: A Supportive Space for ADHD Moms

For kids who are learning to navigate friendships.

If you’re an ADHD mom- whether you’ve had the diagnosis for years or just recently discovered it- you’re not alone. This group was created for moms just like you: Moms who are managing the unique challenges that come with ADHD while also juggling the demands of motherhood. No diagnosis is required- as long as you are noticing ADHD tendencies, this space is for you!

Many of us are also raising ADHD kids so that adds to our journey. Naturally these conversations will overlap into our space- what works, what doesn’t and how our own experiences have shaped who we are today. But, this group is more than just that. It is a supportive space to talk about all things ADHD and how it impacts you. Whether that is executive functioning, anxiety, or depression, this place is for you. We will navigate the ADHD journey together, sharing stories, tips and challenges under the guidance of a therapist to foster a supportive environment that focuses on validation, advice and providing a safe space.

Understanding the Structure & Techniques of Finding Your People: A Supportive Space for ADHD Moms

➤ Our Finding Your People: A Supportive Space for ADHD Moms group is the most effective way to navigate ADHD life as a mom in a supportive group environment.

Here’s why…

  • We use a therapist designed curriculum that specifically targets anxious beliefs that prevent you from being your best confident self.
  • We provide psychoeducation on the adult ADHD experience, while also using cognitive-behavioral techniques to reduce anxiety, improve confidence and decrease negative self talk that controls your day.
  • We use a combination of unstructured and structured activities to help you develop skills while also receiving feedback from other moms just like you.
  • This group utilizes a curriculum that is inspired by evidence-based practices from CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness.
  • We provide weekly updates on the group curriculum to help reinforce new strategies while at home.

➤ This group may be the best fit for you if you are:

  • Looking for practical support and connection with other parents navigating ADHD
  • Open to learning new strategies and sharing your own experiences
  • Interested in understanding how ADHD affects parenting, routines, and relationships
  • Willing to participate in group discussions and try out new ideas in a supportive environment
  • Comfortable with a casual, non-judgmental setting
  • Seeking a space where you can be honest about both successes and challenges
  • Motivated to build community and problem-solve together
  • Ready to reflect on your own needs as a parent, not just your child’s needs

➤ This group may not be the best fit for you if you:

  • Prefer one-on-one support over group settings
  • Are uncomfortable with open conversation or sharing personal experiences
  • Are looking for a structured class with formal lectures and little discussion
  • Struggle to listen to or respect differing viewpoints from other parents
  • Are not open to new ideas or feedback
  • Prefer a highly formal or clinical approach
  • Are not interested in making changes or trying new strategies at home
